Type G adapter (upper slot is vertical, side slots are horizontal). You can probably get one for a couple of bucks somewhere or a set for the whole world for around ten.

Ireland/UK adapters are the huge ones with three blades. As Ed says, you can buy them almost anywhere (Walmart, Target, Radio Shack, hardware stores). Or if you are taking a netbook, you could charge it with a USB cord.

Gail, Be sure to check your Cellphone Charger to ensure that it's designed for operation from 100-240 VAC. Look for the words "Input Voltage" listed somewhere on the Charger. You can buy the Plug Adapters at Radio Shack, travel stores, Magellans or from this website for a few bucks. THIS is the model you'll need for travel in the U.K. If you'll also be travelling in mainland Europe, a different style will be required. I'd suggest packing along a couple, as they're easy to misplace. One other point to note is that outlets in the U.K. are often controlled by a small rocker switch next to the outlet. Be sure to check for that. Happy travels!
