Has anyone used the pocket wifi from Tep? How are the connection speeds? My husband and I are headed to the UK in late Sept and we were thinking of using one of the pocket wifi devices to keep in touch with our families (via skype) and check our email, facebook, etc throughout our travels. I just want to make sure the connection speed is good enough so we can keep in contact with family and friends without too much frustration. Thanks :)

Heather, I haven't used TEP Wireless so can't provide any comments. It doesn't look like they even ship to Canada, so it's not likely I'll be trying them. If you decide to use them, be sure to post a note in the "Trip Reports" section as the information may be useful for others here. Happy travels!

From the information on their website (http://www.tepwireless.com/) you can pick up & drop off in the terminals in Heathrow, which is what I was planning on doing. I will make sure to post information of my experience if we use it.
