Hi, my husband will be in Paris for business in early June. I plan to join him at the end. We plan to change hotels for cost and location (He will be near the Louvre at Clarion St. James Albany - not his choice). We plan to move to Hotel Muguet near the Eiffel Tower. We could use some advice on my arrival day. Flight arrives CDG at 7 am. I think I will take the RER and Metro to his hotel, shower and change clothes. Then we will have to check out by 11. Should we head to the other hotel right away or walk around the Louvre/Tuileries Garden first? We don't want to over do my first day. Any advice is appreciated.
Jodi, You should post this question on the To the West section of Travelers Helpline.
Sorry , I thought was where I posted the question. thanks
Your question is relevant to any location in Europe. If it were me, I'd get situated in your new hotel right off when you are reasonably fresh. That way you have a place to crash if you need a respite from sightseeing and you won't have to change hotels when you're tired.
