Is there a tourist sight to see in the direction of Kew Gardens as I want to spend some time at the Gardens but don't think it will take all day? I will be doing Hampton court and Windsor Castle on another day.

I don't thing there is a "tourist" site at Kew. It is the most wonderful garden however. There are several green houses, some other buildings, art exhibits, a tree top canopy walk, rose gardens, and much much much more. You could spend half a day or several days here. Their shop is also excellent. I've found some really nice, relatively inexpensive gifts for others there. They do have a 'tram' that goes around the property if you want to save some walking time. It's sort of a hop on/off type thing.
