5 Days GB...London or Cornwall

Our 10 day trip has been halved and I'm trying to decide whether to take our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids under 5)Cornwall or London for all 5 days.

Which would be better with 2 young kids and 3 adults who have never seen England...5 days in Cornwall exploring by train and bus, or 5 days in London with day trips out by train?

Cheers,
Erica

If your kids are like most, they will enjoy the museums and historical points in London more than Cornwall.

Visit the Greenwich naval museum, London Bridge (and the crown jewels), the Royal Air Force Museum, and the War Rooms. Do a google search for each one and read about them.

I too would choose London. You could tour Windsor castle, and Legoland is near by. You could take a boat ride on the Thames to Hampton Court, and they have people in period costumes (they also have a maze there). The Natural History museum is great with a wonderful dinosaur exhibit (animated). The London Eye ferris wheel might be good. Take the double decker bus tour.

Hi Erica, with two children under 5 Cornwall maybe your better choice. I love London and my daugher enjoyed London when she was 5 but we were only in London for 3 days. I would say London if they were a little older, they would have a great time in Cornwall.

I'd do London if they haven't seen it and maybe take a day trip into the countryside. I loved Cornwall, but it rained all but one day when we were there. Kids love the London Eye.
