Advanced tickets

Is it possible to get advanced tickets to see a few
attractions in London? The London Sightseeing Pass is
expensive, we are only there for two half days.
Thank you

Can you give us an idea of what attractions you are talking about specifically?

Yes. Check the individual attraction's website. I have never seen the need. There is no need to pre-book tickets unless you are looking for queue jumping tickets. Queue jumping is only worth it at Madame Tussauds and the London Dungeon, not places I want to go or recommend to anyone.

I am impatient in queues. I thought I waited interminably at Windsor Castle security. It was only seven minutes.

Many places offer small discounts for online bookings. Better discounts are available at http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/ (2 for 1) and http://www.discountbritain.net/ (20% off).

Enjoy London.

Hi Kathy,
I know you can book your London Eye tickets ahead, especially if you want a very specific time. Or you can get them at the kiosk beforehand. You can probably book other attractions ahead of time, just check the website. I'm not sure the need for booking ahead, unless you want to do something that only has a limited amount of spots, such as the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London. And of course, if you plan on seeing a play that you just cant miss, you might want to book those tickets ahead as well. Or just take your chances at the TKTS booth! Happy Travels, and enjoy your trip to London!

Thank you for your replies. We are going to the Tower of London and St. Paul's Cathedral (July)and we only have one afternoon. I've heard that the lines at the Tower of London are very long.

Thanks, Kathy
