Oyster card in London

I will travel first to Amsterdam on December 16 and then to London on December 20, arriving at the Stansted airport. I assume it is late to order a refillable Oyster card for London transport now. Can I buy a card in Amsterdam or when I arrive at the Stansted airport?

Buy it when you get to London. They're available at most if not all tube stations. You can refill at any time.
