Frommers has a message board for Iceland which has been quite active of late, especially with restaurant recommendations.

Reykjavik Excursions has really good tours, in case you are interested (or want to replicate by car). Stop by the Blue Lagoon either from/to the airport (the flybus will coordinate this for you)- touristy but not to be missed. The best book I found on Iceland is Lonely Planet and the iceland website is excellent and will give you more info than anyone on this board can (Iceland has a top notch tourist infrastructure so I won't reinvent the wheel by giving you a small sample of ideas). Just strolling around Reykjavik is a treasure and very pleasant (I loved the National Museum of Iceland and the pond in the center of town, and checking out the cafes and shops on Langavaur (sp) street). I have not seen but heard wonderful things about the Harpa Concert center where they hold music and other events - it's a very modern structure along the waterfront, which also has a very cool modern ship statute. There are too many fine restaurants to mention, but for something unique, try having the Icelandic lamb or puffin (bird)- the lobster is outstanding, but pricey. Check out tripadvisor to get more ideas...
