What is the best way to get from Stockholm to Helsinki? I know by train it takes a long time. How about air and what are some of the airlines. I also want to visit Tallin while I am in helsinki. What are the best ferries to take.

The best way is by overnight ferry. It's the most scenic journey I have ever taken! For most of the journey the boat (the size of a small cruise ship), winds through the beautiful archipelago outside Stockholm. There's also lots of activities on board the ship, like the excellent buffet, and even a disco, and live entertainment. There are two companies that make the run:

Thanks for the info. It is a long trip when you have a short amount of time. I would stay in Helsinki for a cojuple of days and then I would have to make the trip in reverse.
