If I had to choose one place to travel to in Belgium which would you go to? Brussels OR Bruges???

Brugge is fabulous. I stayed for a week and took day trips on the train.
Stayed at the Hotel Lucca - jut around the corner from the main square and it was GREAT.

I haven't been to Bruges yet, but Brussels is definitely a waste of time. Skip it.

Bruges, I was in Belgium for one night and ended up staying in Brussels, went via Bruges to the Canadian War Memorial in Adagem. I wish I had stayed in Bruges it was cute and looked really neat. Brussels was nice but more modern; I like quaint and historic areas myself. I hope to go back to the continent next year and will try and stay in Bruges for a few days.
