3 oldies going to London

Good morning,

We are 3 American citizens of the senior variety and we want a week in London in a 2 bedroom apartment in mid September. We have stayed previously in home exchanges and modest b n b's but this time we would like TV and hopefully wifi for our laptop. We are a married couple and an extra single lady. we would like to keep the price we need to pay at a top of 1000.00GBP if possible. We like theater at night and a restaurant for dinner and during the day we roam at will. We hope to see the Staffordshire Hoard wherever it is but over the years we have seen most of the city and much of England's major sights. Any suggestions are most welcome!!

Hi - Have you visited Churchill's wartime quarters in London? We too are "oldies" and found that very interesting. As a couple who does many home exchanges to the UK, why are you not considering an exchange this time? We find that's usually the most comfortable AND cheapest. Maybe a week is too short a time for an exchange? could you stay longer? Julia

Hi Julia in particular,

We ARE Homeexchangers and are doing one this year for the month of August....then we are going on to Europe for a couple of weeks and coming back to London for a final Hurrah and it's only for 1 week. If you'd like to come west some time, look at #71017 on the exchange.

We are now wondering about the Vancouver Studios, a little pricey but....so what. Anybody stayed there?
