Finding lodging for our family of six (kids ages 12, 15, 19 and 21)is proving a challenge with high rates plus some questionable internet reviews for most places I start to reserve. This is our latest "trip of a lifetime" and want it to be memorable before we join our cruise. Any recommendations?

I don't have a specific hotel to recomend but it is unlikely you will find anything "cheap". It is a very nice city but very expensive.
Also find out which terminal your cruise ship is using, there are two in Copenhagen.

I would check with Gitte Lykke from Royalbed.dk...she's a great lady with great places to stay and if she's full she has a lot of friends right by her (great location in Amager/Kobenhavn) who have places for rent. I've stayed both with her and her friends she recommended to me.
