Train Tickets purchased online?

I've tried going online to purchase a train ticket for my husband and myself leaving from downtown Liverpool to Euston Station, but I haven't a clue what they want as From, Via, and To in regards to stations. I tried putting in Liverpool Lime Station in the From and also the Via. I got kicked out. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I used the nationaltrain website for England. Thanks.

I use www.thetrainline.com. For Euston you can just type in Euston. If you want to go from Liverpool Lime type Liverpool Lime Street. You only need to put in a via if you are planning on stopping somewhere. Just leave that blank. I just tried it on the NationalRail site too and it worked for me.

Karen,

We made our reservations direct with National Express via the phone and picked up our tickets at the station. Their dedicated booking line is 011 +44 (0) 8717 818181

Openning hours are 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 20:00 on Sundays (UK time).

They were also very helpful in locating the best fare for us.

Have a great trip!
