Christmas in Copenhagen

So, taking advantage of an SAS deal this summer we booked flights for 2 weeks in Copenhagen over Christmas & New Year's. We're getting pretty close and two (seriously, 2!) apartment rentals have fallen through.

So now we're wondering what to do for accommodations. We've thoroughly read through the most recent Scandinavia book but wanted to see if anyone had suggestions specific to this time of year.

Thanks!

Our timeframe is slightly earlier than yours, but we Pricelined and got the Marriott @ $112/night plus taxes/fees. It doesn't necessarily have charm but is a great deal and may have space available since it is such a large hotel. Normally we go for small hotels/apts too, but this was too good to pass up.

Thanks Lauren! We were hoping for a spot with a kitchen to keep food costs lower but I checked some of the hotels. There are some not bad prices out there!

Current plan may be to hop quick, cheap SAS flights to other (maybe cheaper) cities for some of the duration!

That sounds like maybe a good option. We have done this before too and had a good time too. Sterling is the Danish airline with good prices. (Air Berlin and Germanwings are both great low cost airlines too in my opinion.) Have fun!

Thanks Lauren! Great suggestions! Now we'll get to see some of Norway and Sweden too!

Hope you enjoy your time in Copenhagen!
