Laundry

Do hotels that Rick Steves tours use always allow laundry in the rooms? I'm assuming they do since he advises traveling light. I'm asking specifically about the Ireland tour.

I am not sure about Rick Steve's hotels, but I know that some B&B's in Scotland have separate drying rooms that they would like you to use and that's mostly for heavy duty things that have been out in Scottish downpours. . Other than those situations, it's not been a problem for me. Heck, I've rinsed things out in the Renaissance in Times Square. ; )

Well we just took a fantastic Rick Steve's tour of Greece and several people had been on some of his other tours. We were offered two times to bring our laundry down to the lobby in a bag the tour guide provided. Worked great.

Would like to NOT recommend the Galaxy laundry in the Bayswater/Nottinghill area of London. We left our clothes there, carefully sorted, and they fried everything.
