I arrive at Shannon Airport at 7:00 a.m. and depart Shannon at 9:00 a.m. the next day. I am staying at the hotel at the airport, but for my 1 day in Ireland, what suggestions do you have for what I can do, nearby Shannon area. I am traveing alone so I don't want to be out and about late at night - I'm just looking for something interesting to do that would be a quick bus ride or cab ride away. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks so much!

Bunratty Castle and a little shopping area are six miles from the airport. The Cliffs of Moher are about an hour away. Since I always drive, though, I don't know what's available for public transport to the Cliffs from the airport.
