Has anyone traveled from Zagreb to Venice? It appears that the most convenient way to get to Venice is by a train to Villach then a bus from there to Venice. Has anyone done this and what was the experience like?

Hello. I'm doing kind of the opposite trip in a month. Going from Venice to Ljubljana and then Zagreb (but not staying here; taking a flight to Split). I didn't want to deal with that train ride to Villach. I booked shuttles (shared ride) between both cities using goopti.com. I just did a quick search and they offer a transfer between Zagreb and Venice. It's approximately a 4 hour trip. If booked a couple of months in advance it's about 40 Euro, which is not bad at all. I've heard great things about this company.
