When we leave Mostar, we want to get a bit of taste of Serbian Bosnia but time constraints discourage us from taking Rick's "upper" & longer route from just south of Mostar that goes winds more or less due east to Gacko then south thru Trebinje to Dubrovnik. By driving further below Mostar to Carljina, Bosnia we could then get to Dubrovnik more quickly according to Michelin.com by turning on a scenic hiway going southeast thru Stolac to Trebinje, BiH then south to Dubrovnik? Any comments on this route would be appreciated. Problems with roadsigns in Cyrillic alphabet? Scenic? Sights? Time to allow?
