Hi , which RER or Metro do i take to get to Chantilly castle in Paris.
I'l be taking RER line A from Maisons-Laffitte into Paris, can't seem to figure out the quickest way from looking at the metro map I have.
Thanks.
Some of the RER-D lines actually run past what appears to be the final stop at Orry La Ville to Creil. In between the two is the Chantilly-Gouvieux stop. So you'd take the A line to Chatelet-Les Halles and transfer there to the D-1 line (which heads north). Since not all D-1 trains head all the way to Chantilly, you'll have to check the board. You can get an idea of when they leave at the Paris area transport site, http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais. See detailed Metro and RER maps linked on that page as well.
You'll get more comments if you post this in "To the West" section of Helpline.
