Hello! I'm looking for a direct bus or train from Warszawa Centralna to Lvov. Prefer to arrive during hostel check-in hours (not 6:00am!) Any suggestions? I understand the easiest route is via Krakow, so I'm amenable to those suggestions as well. Thanks!

I don't know about from Warsaw, but there are buses from Krakow to Lviv. The Aerosvit airlines might have a plane from Warsaw to Lviv. Check their WEB site. You are going to like Lviv. Trains stop at the border, I believe, and replace the rolling stock with wider axles. We have been to both Krakow and Lviv and enjoyed Lviv the most.

Have you checked the Polish Rail and bus websites? Train: http://rozklad-pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en? Train/Bus: http://en.e-podroznik.pl/ Looks like the train gets in at 06:03 either way. To add to list of other places to check, I've seen questions about this border crossing come up on the TripAdvisor.com Poland forum, as well.
