We are visiting Croatia next week and need an advice on a best way to visit Hvar. We are travelling by car from Zagreb to Dubrovnik with a stop in Split. We were planning to take a ferry from Split to Hvar just for one day, but since we are driving to Dubrovnik, according to a map, Drvenik is the closest port to Hvar, but we are coming to Su?uraj town on island Hvar. So, what is the best option: 1. To take a ferry from Split to Hvar (2 hours) and come back
2. To stop in Drvenik on a way to Dubrovnik, take a ferry with our car to Su?uraj (less than 1 hour) on Hvar, drive to Hvar/Stari Grad towns, come back to Su?uraj to take a ferry back to Drvenik and drive down to Dubrovnik? Thank you for your help.
Hi we are in hvar right now figuring out the same thing. Are you renting your car in Zagreb and returning it in Dubrovnik? You can take a car ferry to Hvar (stari grad),enjoy hvar and then drive to Sucuraj and ferry to Drvenik and then drive to Dubrovnik. There is no need for a car on hvar island and I would check to see if there is parking at your hotel. We are trying to figure out how to rent a car and drive to Dubrovnik from here! We took the catamaran from split yesterday.

Do you know how long a drive it is from Drvenik to Dubrovnik?
