Do we need visas in E. Europe--Hungary, Czech Rep., Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia? Of course we have passports; is that sufficient? If not, where do we get visas, in US or country we visit?

No, you do not need a visa for the first four
countries. We went on a tour into Bosnia and
they just asked for our passport. Maybe if you
cross the border by yourself you will need one.
I would just call a travel agency or go to
Google and type in visas for Bosnia.
