We're thinking of taking the Village Turkey Tour in September. Could anyone who has taken this tour tell us if at the end of the tour we are on our own to get to the airport or will the tour bus take us to the airport for flights out of the country? TIA
Also if anyone has taken the tour end of September/early October if the weather had any impact on your enjoyment?

Contact Rick Steves' office for up to date info on the airport transfers. Usually you are on your own for getting to and from the airports. I was in Turkey mid-September some years ago, weather was spectacular around the southwestern coast - we were swimming every day but not too hot that visiting sites was a problem. Last day was in Istanbul and it was colder and cloudy and rained the day we left.

We were on Best Of Turkey tour this spring and end transfers were incl but details of those schedules can be best verified w/ RS Tour grp via email or phone. Also if you get Mert Taner as your guide you will be will getting one of the best.
