Ukraine

I am considering volunteering to teach a 2 week class to law students in the Ukraine. I have the choice of the following cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, L'viv, Chernivtsi, Odesa or Simferopil. ANyone out there familiar with these cities? Room and board will be provided, so more interested in learning your experiences (safety, culture, interesting sights.)
thanks.

David, Lviv and Chernivsti. We were there last September and found western Ukraine to be the most nationalistic, nonRussian, and friendly place you could imagine. Safety will not be a problem. The Ukranians have too mush to do taking care of themselves to bother foreigners. Let's go to PM and then email if you want more specifics and help. Odessa is a city we could go back to. It is lively, friendly, fairly prosperous, and quite a few Russian tourists, along with tourists from all over the world. We didn't go to Simferopil, but it would be interesting with all the Tatars living there. We spent seven days in Kyiv. We didn't go to Kharkiv because its a long way from anywhere and is supposed to be the most Russian city in Ukrains.
