Has anyone taken advantage of the Rick Steve's Two Nights in Salzburg special at the Hotel Goldene Krone? We're thinking of doing it this summer, so any comments would be appreciated.

I found the Rick Steves' Two Nights in Salzburg deal in the 2010 Germany book (p. 177). The "deal": if you reserve two nights at the Hotel Goldene Krone and mention the Rick Steves special, Goldene Krone's co-manager Gunther will have Mirabelle Palace concert tickets and Salzburg Cards (transport and attractions admission) waiting at the front desk, and also will take you on a personal guided tour of the city for 304 Euros. When you add up the hotel price and costs of the tickets, it's like getting a tour thrown in for free while enjoying the convenience of someone else taking care of the ticket details ... not a major savings, but a nice bonus.
We would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with either the Rick Steves' Two Nights in Salzburg deal and/or with the Hotel Goldene Krone.
