Do you know how much I should spend for a Turkish "Puzzle" ring in Turkey? I don't mind getting one in silver. Gold would be neat, too!

Start by offering half the asking price and work up from there to about 3/4 of the asking price. This is the commonly accepted method of bargaining. The closer to 1/2 price you can get the better you've done! If the seller won't bargain down to 3/4 the price walk away. You'll find it someplace else. Chances are they'll stop you and come down, but if not, too bad for them.
