Does anyone have any information about where to stay in these areas and what the roads are like and or any danger? We will be driving down from Artvin and Kars and on to Cappadocia. Thanx. Carole

Have you looked at Tom Brosnahan's website? He used to be the author of Lonely Planet Turkey (he might still be, but don't know). I've also heard him speak on Turkey.
