I'm flying To Antalya via Istabul so is it easy or complicated to change planes in Istanbul? How far is the domestic airport/terminal from the international one? Thanks!

When I flew from Bodrum to Istanbul and then on to London, it wasn't difficult to transfer, but I seem to remember quite a long walk between terminals. The Turks are heavy on security, so allow lots of time. There were extra security checks at the gate before the flight to London.

Agreed we just went through the Istanbul airport and it's quite a walk between intl and domestic terminals; I believe 15 minutes at a very brisk pace. The metro into town is located between the two, so that gives you an idea of the distance. And you go through two metal detector screenings at every terminal in Turkey one just to get into the airport and one to get to your gate.
