Planning a quick jaunt through Slovenia and Istria next month, however I'm running into what may be a problem. I'm trying to transfer from Rovinj to Ljubljana through Opatija. I'm coming in on a bus and leaving on a train, with a 45 minute window. However I've read that the Opatija train station is actually above the town in the next village, Matulji. I'm really hoping I can get a cheap cab right from the bus station to take me to the train station. Is this plausible with the amount of time I have? Anyone else have experience with this?
