Planning post Rick Steves Turkey in the Dodecanese Islands.
Have a great itinerary and price planned by internet Truegreece.com; but, they now want a deposit to book the trip (even though it not till July 2009). They want almot the entire package paid now! I am worred this may be a "scam". Has anyone used this Greek travel agency?

There are two highly-regarded travel agencies in Athens I often recommend, Dolphin-Hellas and Fantasy Travel. I've never heard of True Greece. Why not do s price/service policy comparison between them all?

Another good agency is aegean thesaurus. I used them for a trip to Athens and several of teh islands in May-June of this year. I was very happy with their service. Since Rick does not offer too much info in Greece, check out this site: www.greektravel.com. There is a lot of helpful info there, and links to this travel agency and the two mentioned in teh previous post.

Based on 30 years travel experience I would not invest any money in this agency. Do more research and be comfortable with what you agree to.
