Is it better to stay in Urgup or Goreme in cappadocia? Does someone have a perfect cave hotel? Do you need A/c in cave hotel during the last month in August?

We really liked our hotel in Urgup - Esbelli Evi (http://www.esbelli.com/) - it was a wonderful cave hotel. However, we liked the town of Goreme better than Urgup. Maybe someone knows of a comparable hotel in Goreme! Check the reviews on Trip Advisor to see if Esbellli Evi is what you're looking for! Enjoy Turkey - Cappadocia is especially amazing! Not sure about a/c or temps in August!

We stayed in Goreme at the Anatolia Cave Pension for four nights. It is a family run moderately priced hotel. You can check their rating on booking.com. It is highly rated. They have cave and regular rooms. We were in a cave room in the middle of September 2011. The room was great with a brand new bathroom. The breakfast was also very good. The owners are extremely helpful in arranging balloon rides, tours, etc. As we were walking to the bus station to continue our travels, the owner saw us and insisted on driving us there. While there we rented a car and there was free parking on the street outside the hotel. Goreme is a smaller town and is great for walking to restaurants. We loved staying there!
