I will be driving from frankfurt to prague. Would it be worth it to drive from prague to budapest or should we take a train or fly? Also I would like help in picking a hotel in prague. I want a really nice place that is convenient to most of the sights.

Prague to Budapest is an easy drive, 5 to 6 hours. It's almost all on expressways if you take the most direct route (east to Brno, south thru Bratislava), or you can take the slower route and go south from Prague toward Linz, then east past Vienna. The latter gives you the opportunity to see Cesky Krumlov & the Melk abbey. In either case get your directions from viamichelin.com
