Traveling into Turkey from Athens, then visiting Armenia

I understand that there's a speedboat that goes from Athens to western Turkey? If so, is there a site that I can buy tickets? Do I need a visa to get into Turkey? As for getting into Armenia, what exactly is the process to visit there from Turkey? I've heard that one has to go through Georgia first? Do I need a visa for Georgia as well? What sites can I go to to get the visa's? Thanks.

It is hard to answer your questions when you don't mention what your nationality is and what passport you will be traveling on.

Can't help with the speedboat.

Assuming a US passport, a visa to Turkey is required and can be bought at any port of entry for $20 (cash - USD or Euros only). There has been some movement in the last couple of months in the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia. However, I believe the border is still closed which will require you to go through Georgia. Again, if on US passport, a visa is not req'd to enter Georgia though you will need one to enter Armenia which can be obtained at the border crossing.

I suggest you do a lot more research - you can get a lot more info by checking the Lonely Planet guidebook (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan) and also the thorntree forum on the LP website for more upto date information.
