In spring 2011 I'll be traveling to Krakow, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Lviv, and Kiev. Inter-country travel plans have proven to be pretty easy to resolve, with the exception of how to best get from Sarajevo to Lviv. Any thoughts on the best way to do this? I'm hoping to avoid paying a fortune, but time is an important consideration, too (spending 24 hours getting from Point A to Point B isn't doable, since I'll only have around 2 1/2 weeks to do this entire trip, and every minute will therefore count). Thanks!
You can compare flight options on skyscanner.com You can compare train options on www.bahn.de On the latter use the Russian spelling, Lvov.
Did this last year but we had 2 weeks - started in Sarajevo and then traveled through Belgrade, Szeged, Budapest, Kosice and then Lviv before finishing in Kiev. Since you don't have the time, your only option is to fly. Try Carpatair and some of the other LCC to figure out the cheapest ticket. Also check out Aerosvit and Ukrainian Air to see where they fly and whether you may be able to use them.
Thanks so much for your advice; I really appreciate it! I'm going to check out all of these websites and think they'll be a big help!
