Traveling from Cesky Krumlov to Budapest

After reading Rick's guide book I saw a shuttle bus service from Pension Lobo to Linz where you can catch trains to Vienna and Budapest. Time wise it looks good. 75 minutes by bus and then 4-5 hours br train. Has anyone done this? Can anyone suggest anything(other than flying) than is less than 10 hours? Thanks.

Sounds like driving isn't your thing, but according to viamichelin.com, driving time from Cesky Krumlov to Budapest is 5 hrs 19 minutes. We've driven from Salzburg to Budapest. The roads were good and the driving was easy.
