Traveling between Greek Islands - fly or ferry?

Hi - 10 of us are taking a 10 day trip in Greece in early June. We are planning to do Athens-Myconos-Santorini-Athens. Is it better to fly or ferry for this itinerary? Thanks for your help!

I'd probably do a bit of both. Ferry down to Mykonos and Santorini (Thira in Greek) and then fly back from there. It's worth doing the ferry one way, to get the views of the other islands, and the general atmosphere, and for me it's more exciting to do it on the way out.

Flights in Greece are fairly cheap, and you would effectively gain a day by flying back.

This site is useful for ferry times and schedules

Olympic and Aegean both fly to Thira, and you can get timings here

Agree, ferry to Mkonos, then Santorini, fly back to Athens.
