I leave for Istanbul April 10th. Will spend 3-4 days in Istanbul then head to Selcuk by public transport. Is it possible to visit a Greek island for one day, and if so which one? I am also very interested in visiting the Lycian tombs. Does anyone know of a day tour from Selcuk area, or should I make my way further down the coast to get to the tombs? Any other inexpensive accomodations in Selcuk, there are 4 of us traveling. Also, we may spend one night in Izmir just to break up the travel day, we will need a place near the bus/train station. Thanks. Looking forward to my first trip to Turkey!!
