Will be driving to Auschwitz and Krakow in early December. Just wondering what to expect as far as road conditions from Germany. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I did that trip in 2003 and the roads where BAD, bumpy to say the least , no signs.And it snowed on the way back to Prague, but it was worth it
we stayed one block away from Auschwitz

I just did that drive this summer. No problems. Poland is currently doing A LOT of road construction which can create a headache, but otherwise the drive is uneventful.
