We are planning to go to Easter Europe (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary), rent car in one of those countries and then go to Ukraine for a week on the car that we want to rent. Is it possible? As far as I see many rental companies have the restriction and Ukraine is the country in their restriction list. Are there any companies that allow you to go on their car to Ukraine? I will be returning car in the same place where I rent it.

If you pull that off i would be very interested. pLease let me know if any company goes along with it. If all else fails I would supsect that you could get a car and driver to come from the Ukraine to pick you up in Poland. Doubt it would be terribly expensive. You might also be able to find a tourist bus (or even a train) from Krakow to L'viv and then rent the car in L'viv. That will put you on the major road to Kyiv if thats the direction you are heading. Let me know how it comes out.

I have booked the car with SIXT. I have mentioned I am going to Ukraine. So far they did not reply. However car is booked. Worst case scenario I have to pay for the extra insurance.
By the way, SIXT has the car rental offices in Ukraine.
