We're heading east from Croatia through Montenegro, Bosnia, Serbia, and Macedonia to Greece in our RV. Anyone have any advice on finding camping sites? The Lonely Planet doesn't do a very good job in this respect, and the British Caravan Club Guide leaves out this part of Europe. Also, any recommendations on travel guides (other than the Lonely Planet Western Balkens Guide? Rick ignores it entirely (except for Mostar).

Hi Jeremy, If you haven't already, you may want to consider posting this question on the relevant forums of TripAdvisor.com, as many of the respondents on TA are local residents who may be more familiar with RV camping than people who visit this website. For travel guides, one resource you may want to check out are the free downloads that In Your Pocket provides, although they are city specific. www.inyourpocket.com

Better yet, post your question in the Thorn Tree forum on the lonelyplanet website. You will probably get more useful information there. The best book for that area is the Western Balkans (LP). Alternatively, Bradt guides have some books covering Kosovo, etc.
