I am taking two RS tours in 2009. First we will be in Prague for a week and then on to the Adriatic Tour which starts in Ljubljana and ends in Dubrovnik.
Any suggestions about getting from Prague to Ljubljana and flying back to the US from Dubrovnik would be appreciated.
I think the easiest and most cost effective way to get from Prague to Ljubljana would be the train. I am taking 2 RS tours and will be taking a train from Vienna to Ljubljana...check out the Railpasses link on the RS website. There are flights back to the US from Dubrovnik...it may be too soon to book your flight, though. Good luck!
You might want to check out SkyEurope - www.skyeurope.com.
You could fly from Dubrovnik to Vienna and possibly on to Prague.

From Dubrovnik you will probably need to use Croatia Airlines to Zagreb.
From Zagreb then pick your international carrier.
We used frequent flyer miles on Delta...Air France and Croatia Airlines are part of thier alliance.
You can do an open jaw into Prague and then back from DBV
The Croatia Airlines shuttle bus to the airport is very easy to use and the most economical way to get there.
Regarding Prague to Ljubljana the train is the best option.
If you would like to check out our photos of Dubrovnik and some of the other areas you will be visiting they are on our personal travel journal site...go to ourpassportstamps.com and then into the Photo section. In the where we've been section is our travel blog about Croatia, Mostar and Montenegro along with some videos..
