Can anyone recommend a travel agent for Croatia and surrounding areas? For a number of years we've booked all of our own hotels and all travel but used an agent (Fantasy Travel) for Greece last year to handle our hotels and land/ferry travel. It worked well and saved us a great deal of planning time.

Susan, I don't know of any Travel Agents that deal specifically with Croatia. The "mainstream" T.A.'s will likely try and sell "packages" which cover the main sights but probably won't provide much flexibility. You could have a look at This Agency to see if it might work for you. You could also check Rick's Eastern Europe Guidebook (which covers Croatia), as I'm sure you'd be able to plan the trip yourself without having to use a T.A. It covers many of the popular locations in that area and provides Hotel and "getting around" information. Of course, if you have a generous travel budget you could also have a look at the Best of the Adriatic 14-day tour. BTW, I also used Fantasy Travel to plan part of my trip to Greece this year, and that worked out well! Good luck with your planning!
