Transportation or tours of Cappadocia, Turkey

My firend and I will be in Istanbul the first and second weeks of October. Does anyone have recommendations for transportation and/or tours to Cappadocia? I have heard there are both bus and plane possibilities. Thanks very much, Barb

One option is to fly Istanbul to Cappadocia, using one of the Turkish airlines. Both airports in Istanbul have flights to the two airports in central Cappadocia, Nevsihir and Kayseri. Flight duration is around 1.5 hours.
