Anyone know of a centralized website where i can find bus schedules and/or train schedules for mainland Greece and the islands? Going to mykonos, corfu, athens, and olympia in a couple weeks and would like to plan my traveling there. thanks!

Hi Brian! As it happens I DO have a workable link. U should know that KTEL (the intercity Bus system) has taken the schedules OFF its website for 2+ years now, because as they say "others copy it for profit." Is that childish or what?!?

But there IS one source, if u are bussing to/from Athens, tho it may be a little outdated. A website called athensguide.com has schedule for both terminal A & B (A is Peloponnese & west, B is north & E).

you would need Station A for Olympia --

As for islandst...even Magical Greece does not have busses or trains that go on water. THe standard weblink for ferries is:

To get to Corfu, I think you must bus to Patras & get a ferry there. Good luck!

Hello,

and thanks to janet for the reply. my question specifically deals with transport once on the islands of mykonos and corfu. I know about the ferries ;?). Any help with transportation once one is on the islands would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mykonos and Corfu are both small enough that depending on where you are going, your feet are good enough. Both do have bus service on the island, but that is more like city bus service, a bus departing every few minutes to an hour, hardly worth worrying about before hand. If you look in Lonely Planet, Lets Go or other books on Greece, they will give you a summary of bus frequency and routes.
