Windsurf cruise arrives in Pireaus port on the 25th Apr at 7.00 am .I was planning to take the fast ferry to Santorini but ferry leaves at 7.30 am which is too early. Next alternative is to take a flight . How do I catch the bus to Athens airport.? Where do I take bus no 96.?

Hopefully Lee Global will be along shortly. He is the absolute expert on Greece/Athens, etc.. I know you could take the metro all the way to the airport. Depending on where you dock it could be a hike to the station. And I think it takes one change and an extra ticket to get to the airport.

The Airport Express Bus Stop is about 1/3 mile from the cruise ship dock, near the Blue Star Ferry docks for the Western Cyclades Islands and the Metro Station. You'll have to walk along the waterfront with the water on your left shoulder if you can't get a taxi to take you the short distance. Be sure to set the taxi price before you accept a ride. It won't be as cheap as you think it should be.

The Bus Stop is between E8 and E9 and the cruise ships dock below and to the left of E10.
If you dock by E1 (doubtful) there is a shuttle bus that will bring you to the ferry docks.
