Train to Salzburg

I just saw a rate of 29 Euro for 2 adults traveling from Munich to Salzburg. Is this a good fare?

Once we get to Salzburg, we plan to go on to CZ for 1-2 nights. After reading the advice, it looks as though trains from Salzburg to Linz are recommended, then a shuttlebus on to CZ. Is that a good plan? Does anyone have other ideas or suggestions?

Although I didn't go from Salzburg to CZ, I went from Munich to Prague, and it sucked. Long train ride to begin with, and it was late by about an hour.
