Train station to Corinth

How long does it take to get from the train station in Corinth to the archeological site? I am curious if it is worth it to spend the night there, or try to get there for a few hours in between trains to Patras (say if we have about 3 hours to kill waiting).

It is a short cab ride (15 minutes or so) to ancient Corinth. You should be able to see most everything in 3 hours, although you likely wouldn't have enough time to explore the acropolis in that amount of time.
