Train from Katakolon to Olympia in Greece

We'll be traveling by boat around Greece and the kids (9 and 7) don't want to miss Olympia. I've heard a train runs from the port of Katakolon to Olympia but can't find any info on it. Has anyone done this or know about it? thanks!

I can't help you with the train question, but we hired a driver right at the port. Round trip (including a stop at a local gift store) was around 100 Euros.
