Hi Bari,

This recommendation is going to sound a little suspect because I've never actually used their tour guide services. BUT, I stayed at the Rick Steves' recommended Villa Fortuna in Mostar in 2008, a charming B&B run by Nela (wife) and Mili (husband). Along with the B&B they run a rather large travel agency called Fortuna Tours and do guided tours. We would have loved to have done a tour with them but, sadly, didn't have the time. Nela and Mili are warm, hospitable, extremely knowledgable about the area, and if they run the tours with even half as much efficiency as they run their B&B then it would still be money well spent!

I don't know about a Hvar tour. But I was in Dubrovnik two summers ago and used a company called Atlas for a tour to Montenegro. Found them easy to work with, professional, friendly guide and had a great tour. Would use them again. I just checked their website and they do have a tour to Mostar.
