Is seven days too little to spend over Split, Dubrovnik and Korcula? Also, any ferry recommendations other than the link through Rick's website?

Last summer I spent 3 nights in Dubrovnik, which was perfect. I spent 3 nights in Split which was too many. I did not go to Korcula, but went to the islands of Vis and Brac. These 2 islands and Hvar are easily reached through split, which is the hub of ferry travel. I highly recommend any of these islands.

I would recommend 1-1.5 days in Dubrovnik, 1 day in Split, and the rest island-hopping or heading to Plitvice National Park. I spent two days in Split, and that was too much. (I should've gone to Hvar or Korcula!) A week in Croatia was enough for me.

Last summer, we spent 2 nights and 1 full day in Split which was enough for us. Dubrovnik was a good base for 3 days--enabled us to do a sidetrip to Mostar. Korcula is a smaller place--nice change from Dubrovnik and Split as are the other little places on other islands. We enjoyed the islands for a week, mainland Croatia for another week and I would go back to see more.
